ABC Xmas Carol Competition 2013

Win a £150 Music Voucher & £75 worth of percussion instruments

We are looking for the best performance from a class of either of these carols:

  • The Holly & the Ivy
  • Good King Wenceslas

The winners will be judged on singing, dance routines*, and video creativity.
The winning class for each song will receive the following prizes:

  • £150 ABC Creative Music Voucher (against a future subscription to ABC Online)
  • £75 of percussion instruments for your class or school
  • Your video displayed on our website to more than 500 schools using ABC Online
  • A certificate of excellence

* You don’t have to include a dance routine – just singing really well is fine. But if you want to go full Glee on us we will be delighted.

To qualify for the competition you MUST use our backing track.
Click here and sign up for a Free Trial Course on our website and choose the Xmas/Winter Concert Pack from the drop down course menu.
This will give you access to downloads of lyric sheets and backing tracks as mp3s, as well as material you can use to teach the songs on your interactive whiteboard.
A school or teacher can enter as many classes as you wish but each class can only enter one category.

If your school already has an ABC Subscription you can just add the Xmas/Winter Concert Pack in Staffroom>Add a Course.

Please note that no ABC Creative Music Online subscription is required to access this material and enter the competition,
and you do not need to provide any credit card or other information other than your school name, postcode, and email address.

How to submit your entry
Entries must be submitted via Youtube – upload as unlisted and send us a link, via Dropbox or YouSendIt, to tom@abccreativemusic.com by 5pm on December 14th.
